Lauren and I joined up with other employees of Medical Center Hospital this year to raise money and awareness for the American Heart Association. Lauren even had a t-shirt to match the rest of us. We had a great time walking around Buffalo Wallow. Lauren rode around in her pink car and enjoyed every minute, especially when she got out to feed the ducks. Mama actually fed the ducks while Lauren ate the bread. Oh well! She was hungry! 
This was Lauren's 1st time to eat "real" spaghetti, as in not Gerber Graduates Spaghetti O's. She didn't know what to think about the noodles, but it didn't take her long. Once she got a noodle in her mouth she knew to suck in those cheeks and slurp up the noodle. Yummy! 
Lauren loves to play in her room, but only if Mama and Daddy are in there to play too. Our favorite time to play is after bathtime in the evenings. 
PaPa got these pajamas for Lauren at Cabela's. He made sure to get some with pretty white lace. The perfect touch for a sweet little girl.
Lauren loves to look at her books, but most of all she loves for people to read her books! Meme and Bobo came over to see her one night and they got to watch her take a bath, play in her room, then they read her bedtime stories. What a special time for a them to spend with their great-grandchild. That is so special to me! 
Our little book worm loves to read. Every night Lauren flips through pages looking at pictures in her books and when she gets through with the last book, then it's time for us to read bedtime stories. We can't believe how much this entertains her! Lauren's quiet for at least 10 minutes and we just sit in the chair and watch her. 
Happy Birthday Dustin! I hope you had a very special day surrounded by those that love you the most - your family. We have so much fun at our pool parties. Have a great year and get ready - the big 30 is next year! Love you!
