We did catch Lauren sucking her thumb a few times. I think she was just telling us she was hungry! You can see in a few of these pictures the tube that was placed through her nose that went down to her stomach. This tube was used to feed her when she didn't have the endurance to suck on a bottle for an entire feeding. Dustin called it the rubber hose up the nose. This way of feeding helps to conserve the baby's energy for the next bottle feeding. I just love the picture of Lauren looking at her Daddy!
