Christmas Breakfast at Didi's

It wouldn't be the same without a picture of the cousins taken in front of the fireplace.
Every year we have a wonderful Christmas breakfast at Didi's! It is something we all look forward to attending. All of the Foster side of the family comes into town. This year we had two new additions to the family - Cari's husband, David, and our little Lauren. Needless to say, it was a very fun Christmas. Didi made all of the grandchildren a gingerbread man, each one being different and specific to each person. Would we expect any less from Didi? She can do anything!

After 32 years...

Mom had a very nice surprise retirement party! Lots of friends, family, retired and current teachers were able to attend. Mom received lots of nice gifts, as well as some gag gifts that resurfaced over the years. There was a large show of support for a teacher who has watched Greenwood grow over 32 years. Congratulations Mom on a job well done! We are so proud of you and all that you have done!

Mom's last 2nd grade class

This is Mom's 32nd 2nd grade class at Greenwood. If there is one thing to be said, "Mom, you have definitely made a difference in the lives of many children!"

Where's Lauren?

There she is! Who ever knew a dress could make such a pretty hat?

The best gift of ALL

Lauren loves to look at the Christmas lights and all the pretty ornaments. She is our little Christmas present - the best present we have ever received! Merry Christmas 2008!

Cookies and Cocoa with Santa

First time to meet Santa!

Getting ready to go...

We had a great time taking Lauren to meet Santa and Ms. Clause. She even gave us a little smile! There were lots of other children there enjoying cookies and cocoa. Santa even brought some of his singing elves.
